Stop retinoids and exfoliating acids five to seven days before, avoid sun exposure and fake tan, and do not book within two weeks of any waxing on the treatment area.

Certain PCA formulations are specifically suited to rosacea and help control redness and reactivity. Assessment matters here, as the wrong peel would make rosacea worse.

It is best avoided for the rest of the day to let the skin settle. From the following morning, normal make-up is fine.
